The Navy is the most traditional home of the Public Market of Porto Alegre. Running at full steam since 1907, the centenary of the capital offers typical dishes of local cuisine like beef jerky from the carter, the gnocchi, oxtail and calf's foot jelly. All this accompanied by a cold beer in one of the most traditional areas of the city.
