Tempostal Museum

A collection of more than 45 000 images, including postcards and photographs, was gathered over 40 years by the Sergipe Marcelino Antonio do Nascimento (06/13/1929 - 22/11/2006).

Highlights, postal Belle Epoque landscape of ancient cities in Bahia and other states, along with pictures of various countries. Among the oldest, can be found postcards, dating from the late nineteenth century, and prints Eucalol, the first collection, which has historical, artistic and documentary.

The collection was acquired by the State Government of Bahia in 1995 and two years later, the Museum was founded Tempostal.
