We work all these years with the local community, maintaining contacts with specialized institutions, public and private, domestic and foreign, to exchange programs, obtaining grants, always aiming at the improvement of cultural and educational activities. The collection now has more than half a century. I started collecting at age fourteen. I am now almost 71. Being eclectic spirit, the collection reflects the same feature, added for travel and living in several countries (Morocco, Spain, England, Algeria, Portugal, France). Each piece of the collection was chosen with personal references. It is a collection of works (paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, photos, fabrics and embroideries, carpets, papers, masks, glasses, musical instruments, old 78 rpm discs, LP and CD - popular and classical - etc.) the references are never economic or speculative, but only cultural. The collection also offers collections of contemporary art, popular, academic and unconscious, both ancient and current. In addition, a small library contains books cultural essence. Works by famous artists, museums, travel, history, literature, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Latin American.
