South Coast of Bahia
The south coast of Bahia is dotted with many Beaches.
Caravelas
Starting point to visit the Abrolhos Marine National Park, one of the best diving points in the country. Between July and November, the presence of humpback whales in the archipelago further leverage the presence of tourists.
Meadow
During the season, the most central beaches are full - not surprisingly, there are concerts almost every night of axé. But just go north or south to find semi-deserted beaches close to cliffs or near mangroves.
Cumuruxatiba
The coastal road linking the Cumuru Prado is a sample of what lies ahead: beaches amid palm trees and cliffs. The wildest lie between the Rio Grande and Fish Bar Fall, some with free signage.
Tip Corumbau
The difficult access by road or boat of land, leaving further contributes to this age preserved white sand lined with coconut palms and mangroves. Even the most comfortable hotels in the proposal remain deprived of the site, forming a beautiful set with the quiet fishing village, which is deserted during the off season.
Caraíva
Who has good physical condition makes better use of the region. As the cars are left on the other side of the Rio Caraíva, down to the beach just who walks the streets of soft sand. At night, the traditional forró also deals with the breathtaking views. Some classic places: the buggy rides or boat to Ponta do Corumbau.
Espelho
Here is one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. To enjoy the place, the recipe is simple: wake up, look for a place in the sun amid cushions and deck chairs on the white sand, take a swim in the water green and soft, walking along the beach and admire the sunset from the top of cliff. At low tide, coral reefs form clear pools.
Trancoso
The term "Bahia chic" is your best representation in the village. Among comfortable guesthouses, charming restaurants, shops and beach huts slept chimes, running into celebrities is commonplace. To the south, heading for the beaches and Tip Tip Itapororoca Itaquena is synonymous with peace. From 16h, everything happens in the square. The most photographed square of the Brazilian coast has shady trees, colorful houses, a soccer field, simple chapel and a gazebo overlooking the sea.
Arraial d'Ajuda
One of the most animated of the Bahian coast. Just the sun rise on a caravan of young people, couples and foreigners descend the steep cobblestone hill toward the beach. Turning left on the sand, the beach Araçaipe is more structured. On the other hand, Brill seduces moçada, Pitinga Taípe attracts families and is sought by those who like peace. At night, all are in color Mucugê Street, lined with shops and restaurants.
Porto Seguro
This is the land of the ax. The musical rhythm helps to pack the days in the huge tents on the beach, play strong during the night, on the Catwalk Alcohol, and establishes the ballads in the morning. Quiet, preserved only in Mutá Beach, the most beautiful of Porto Seguro, on the border with Santa Cruz Cabrália. Visit the historic buildings of the Upper City is the best program extrapraia.
