The “churrascarias” usually provide, complimentary to the meat, an all-you-can-eat buffet. Typically, the buffet serves salads, rice, beans, and some fish stew. Frequently, these establishments also offer pao-de-queijo (similar to biscuit, but with a cheese infused bread. The bread is made of tapioca flour and cheese), and deep fried banana (typical Brazilian treats). They typically offer Brazilian desserts, such as pudim de leite (milk pudding), passion fruit mousse, quindim (a sweet treat made of egg yolk, sugar, and coconut), and brigadeiro (made of chocolate, condensed milk, eggs, and sugar). It is certainly worth saving room for dessert, if you can!
