Hassis Museum
The collection of Hassis Foundation is one of the richest iconographic sources of the state of Santa Catarina. Because it brings together works in drawing, painting, photography, slides, 8mm film, Super 8 and also audiovisual video. All this collected over the 60 years of artistic activity Hassis.
In addition, Hassis was a dedicated archivist, having gathered thousands of newspaper clippings, mostly about art, but also about the Santa Catarina history and other matters in general.
Currently, the collections in photography and newspapers accumulated for Hassis already passed by the work of cleaning, catering and packaging. However, the listing is not yet complete. In turn, the audiovisual collection goes through a process of preserving and cataloging, as well as appropriate packaging since Hassis will develop a custody of these material system of all its own. Also, the Hassis library , which includes some rare titles from the literature of Santa Catarina, is being cleaned and cataloged.
Visiting hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm and from 1:00am to 5:00pm.
