The runway at the Interlagos Circuit, "Jose Carlos Pace", has 4309 meters long. In 1990, when it completed 50 years of existence, the race track was completely redesigned and made the current formatting, over 7,823 meters of the previous circuit. Now it has sections such as "S Curve", "Duck's Beak", "Diving", "The Sun Curve", among others that have become popular worldwide, thanks to Formula 1. In addition to the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the most important events happen in categories such as national Stock Car, Formula Truck, Formula 3, Formula Ford, motorcycling. The day-to-day track, and training, specialized schools teach flying lessons and defensive driving. To accommodate teams from different categories, the circuit has 23 boxes, each with 216m ², fixed bleachers with a capacity of 18 thousand people and all the necessary infrastructure to host events of different automobile categories. Within the Interlagos Circuit also works the best and most traditional South American Karting Circuit which has the extension of 1,150 meters, a width of 7.5 meters and a total of 12 turns - eight to the right and 4 left.
