The spawning seasons is between September and March, when visitors are able to observe Sea Turtles spawning on Praia do Forte, the beach is the headquarters for the Tamar Project, which has been working for 30 years on tracking the Brazilian coast and with protecting the sea turtles.   During these time periods, it's possible to observe biologists handling nests and ensuring predators, and humans are kept from destroying them.
