Quinta da Boa Vista in Rio
The park is part of the Solar da Boa Vista, the royal residence of the emperors of Brazil from 1822 to 1889, when the Republic was proclaimed.
It has an area of 155 square meters, landscaped in 1869 according to project French landscape artist Auguste Glaziou.
The visitor to enter through the side gates, walk through the Alameda das Sapucaias, surrounded by these trees, and traverses the path created by the romantic landscape, which also has lakes, caves and niches in the imperial gardens.
