The Fortress of Santa Cruz is the second most visited tourist attraction in Niteroi. With stunning architecture, attracts tourists and researchers in search of leisure and history.

During the revolt of the fleet, fought against the Fort Villegaignon. In 1922, the Uprising Lieutenants, fired at the Fort Copacabana. His last shot against the cruiser Tamandaré was given in 1955.
