Muro Alto Beach in Recife
To get there you must go buggy up to a certain point and then continue on foot. Muro Alto is about four miles and was named on account of the existing sand banks along the entire beach. The sand is white, fine and abundant and the sea calm, due to the reefs. On the beach there is a single tent where refreshments are sold at a point where you can also rent jet skis, and buggies.
Muro Alto is worshiped by those who like to camp (especially at full moon) and those who enjoy breaking up the coast and encountering a different look at each stop. As there is still no where to stay there, the tourists come from Porto de Galinhas. To complete the script contrasts, just book the late afternoon to climb to the church of Outeiro, on the way to Serrambi, and enjoy putting one of those sunsets breathtaking. You can combine a trip there with the same buggy to take you to Muro Alto and Gamboa. Bargain one package only, achieving a more affordable price.
Location: 43 km from the capital.
