Piedade Beach

This urban beach is located in the district of Jaboatão dos Guararapes and means "Piety".   Piedade Beach is one of three beaches that makes up the beaches of Jaboatão dos Guararapes.  Piedade Beach is an extension of both Boa Viagem Beach and Candeias Beach and all three are located in the south part of Recife. 

Piedade Beach is next to Candeias Beach with Boa Viagem Beach on the other side.  While hotels in Boa Viagem are separated from the beach by the street Avenida Boa Viagem, the hotels along the beaches of Jaboatão, including Piedade, have direct access to the beaches.   Fewer hotels in this area also means a bit more privacy on these beaches.  In the area, there many bars, restaurants and other fun options, as the area is all urban.
