Restaurant Tapioca Recife Antigo in Recife, PE
Brazilian Commonly any meal that is originally from Brazil, which include feijoada, moqueca, or churrasco. The name can be fairly open to understanding, and these institutions can often deliver a large array of meals. Brazilian cuisine, like Brazil itself, fluctuates vastly by region. The usual crops available in each individual region add up to their characteristic. Root vegetables including cassava (locally named mandioca, aipim, or macaxeira), yams, and peanuts, and fruits like açaí, cupuaçu, mango, papaya, guava, orange, passionfruit, pineapple, and hog plum are among the local ingredients chosen in cooking. Brazilian pine nuts called pinhão grow in a tree that is abundant in the southern part of Brazil, and are a well-known national snack, and also a profitable export. Rice and beans are an really common meal, as are fish, beef and pork. A few standard dinners are caruru, which is made up of okra, onion, dried shrimp and toasted nuts (peanuts and/or cashews) cooked with palm oil until a spread-like thickness is attained; feijoada, a simmered bean-and-meat dish; tutu de feijão, a spread of beans and cassava flour; moqueca capixaba, including things like slow-cooked fish, tomato, onion and garlic topped with cilantro; and chouriço, a gently spicy sausage. Salgadinhos, cheese bread, pastéis and coxinha are typical finger foods, whilst cuscuz branco, milled tapioca, is a famous dessert. Brazil is in addition well-known for its cachaça, a common native liquor employed in the caipirinhas. The European immigrants (mostly from Germany, Italy, Poland and Portugal) were familiar to a wheat-based diet, and introduced wine, leaf vegetables, and dairy items in the Brazilian cuisine. When potatoes were not offered they learned how to use the native sweet manioc as a alternative. Lasagna and other pasta dinners are also very popular.
Sandwiches are the most popular type of snack in Brazil. While sandwiches are generally a meal in North America, they are regarded as a light snack in Brazil. This is generally due to the way they are prepared, with very little meats, vegetables and cheeses used. Sandwiches are usually two slices of bread, mayo, a little cheese and meat. Sandwiches aren't the only type of snack available though!
A little pastel, pao-de-queijo, or a croquete (ground beef breaded and deep fried) are common alternatives as well. Some people even have sandwiches for dinner, which is always a smaller meal for most Brazilians.
Sandwiches can also be the Sao Paulo “Beirute” and the Southern Brazil “X-burger”. The latter is much larger than a regular cheeseburger and may also be filled with a variety of meats, from chicken, to beef, to pork, and even chicken hearts! The Name cheeseburger comes from the way Brazilians pronounce “cheese”, which evolved into the short hand version “X” (sheeez). The Beirute is a much larger sandwich. This sandwich is toasted and also much larger than a regular hamburger. It has a Arab influence, as the name “Beirute” suggests.

Instituto Ricardo Brennand (museum) - Oficina Brennand is one of the most amazing places in Recife! A real surprise!
The site was a pottery, a brick and tile factory inherited by Francisco Brennand and converted into his workshop and museum.
There are huge sheds where you can walk and see sculptures and carvings, many of which with some erotic connotation.
See funny parts:
And there are more sculptures outside, outdoors!
