This famous street is considered the hottest street in the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood. Rua Padre Chagas is garnished with bars, cafes, restaurants, flower shops,designer shops and excellent professional services which are available in offices and commercial offices on the boulevard. 

Even if you are not planning on buying anything, simply walking down the street and enjoying the beautiful scenery is enough. There are several cafes, pubs, and restaurants that serve the best that the city of Porto  Alegre has to offer.

The whole Moinhos de Vento neighborhood has a very elegant atmosphere, with popular night clubs and plenty of beautiful and wealthy people. This neighborhood is like New York's Manhattan 'upper east side'! You can't visit Porto Alegre and not visit Rua Padre Chagas.
