Natal - Redinha Beach
This urban beach is in the northern region of the city and the front door to the North Coast, Redinha Beach is divided into Redinha Velha and Redinha Nova, a less frequented prolongation of Redinha Velha. This beautiful beach provides gorgeous sights of the Potengi River where it meets with the Atlantic Ocean and the fresh water mixes with the blue salty ocean waters.
The surrounding area has plenty of bars and kiosks next to beach, offering up plenty to eat and drink. Sunday is the most crowded day for Redinha Beach, when locals and tourists flock to this beach. It can be accessed either by the Bridge of Igapó, or through the urban roads in the North Zone of Natal or by the Raft of the Potengi River, which is actually much faster and roughly 10 km closer.
The Corredor Cultural de Natal is very nearby, which offers many historic attractions, and Forte Beach with Forte dos Reis Magos is also another nearby attraction that is easily reached from Redinha Beach within only a few kilometers. If you're around the Natal Carnival, this beach is situated very near where many of the activities take place as well.
