A typical fishing beach, with a landscape filled with coconut trees and palm trees, Pitangui Beach has attracted many who have ended up building vacation homes here.  The area has also built up a good number of restaurants to service all of the tourists, many along the beach, making it unnecessary to ever even leave the beach.  

Pitangui Beach is also included in several of the routes that the Buggy tours take because of the gorgeous dunes and lagoons here.  The lagoon offers calm waters for bathing and for those who enjoy paddles boats, or kayaking.

Other nearby beaches include Jacumã Beach and          Genipabu Beach, which are nice alternatives if Pitangui Beach is too packed.  When you're done lounging in the sun, head on over to Rancho da Pipa, a typical Brazilian steak house.
