Hiking at Dunas Park
There are three trails in the Parque das Dunas, two of which cross the park from west to east. They both leave at the Grove Valentine and end at a lookout on the Coast Path. The third trail is designed for children and a leisurely walk and passes through a short stretch of forest and returns to the Grove.
Visitor who take the trails have the opportunity, with the help of expert guides and environmental police, to see up close all the grandeur of the dune ecosystem, geology, flora and fauna of the park.
Eco-tourism in the park helps benefit the city's population by promoting environmental awareness to visitors, while protecting the ecosystem at the same time.
