Forte Beach Picture 2

The name for the beach comes from the fact that the famous Forte dos Reis Magos resides here, a historical Forte used to protect the surrounding lands from invading forces.  This is also an urban beach, which is next to the famous Artistas Beach.  The barrier of rocks throughout, helps form natural warm water, swimming pools at full tide.  Forte Beach is most famous for the fort, and most tourists come to see the fort which is an amazing piece of history.
