Cotovelo Beach Picture 2

This is considered the first beach on the south coast of Natal, Cotovelo Beach is located roughly 21 km from downtown Natal, making it an easily accessed beach for tourists.  Cotovelo Beach has many cliffs along the edge of the beach but still offers great areas for bathing in, but generally only during low tide due to nature the beach backing up to the cliffs.  This is considered one of the best beaches for vacationers, as it has decent restaurants and hotels to stay in, while offering quite nights.

Known for it's tranquility, Cotovelo Beach has warm and calm waters, and is know as being one of the closest points to the African continent, which is only 2,852 miles away from this point.
