Piranbuzios Beach in Natal
This south coast beach is near the city of Nísia Floresta which is twenty kilometers from downtown Natal. The beach attracts many surfers due to the strong waves here, and people often come for the natural beauty of the area. The dunes of Búzios Beach are also worth the visit, along with the gorgeous sunset that the whole area is known for.
There is also a cove that is situated between Pirangi Beach and Búzios Beach, called Pirambuzios which offers calmer waters which make it easier to practice sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. This area is dangerous for bathing and swimming, but great for practicing many water sports. The high energy activities require lots of food and so various stalls and kiosks along the coast have been setup which offer great snacks.
Barra de Tabatinga is only 2km from Búzios Beach and offers a beautiful view of the sea, dunes and dolphin watching. Dolphins also come by and visit bathing tourists, who all enjoy playing together. Finally, there is the Big Blue Water Park which is also nearby and fun for the kids. It offers a ramp, water slides, a free fall slide, along with several swimming pools.
