Arte Sacra Museum
Inside the Igreja do Galo, also known as the Church of the Rooster, lays the Sacred Art Museum, which tells the religious story of the Rio Grande do Norte State. Created on December 21, 1988 it aims to collect, record, preserve and display art and historical objects of the state with historically importance.
The beautiful collection, rich in religious history of the people, brings together sculptures, sacred imagery items, paintings, tools, furniture, jewelry and silverware used in religious worship from the 17th to the 20th centuries.
