Porto de Manaus
The Architectural Group of the Port of Manaus, listed as a National Heritage in 1987, consists of several buildings: the building of the island of São Vicente (Rua Bernardo Ramos), the Central Office building (Taqueirinho Street), Museum of Porto (Boulevard Vivaldo Lima), where does the annex building of the Legislative Assembly (Rua Vittorio Governor) and the old building of the public treasury (Rua Mauricio de Souza). Comprises Campinas also the Trapiche November 15 and other warehouses, bridges, floating docks, the buildings of Customs and Guardamoria, than building located at the entrance of Roadway. The other facilities that comprise the set are in normal architectural services (loading and unloading of containers and administrative area), so it is inadvisable to traffic of visitors on site. Except for the building of the island of St. Vincent - which existed in 1852 - the former Treasury Building and the Trapiche November 15 - built in 1890 - the other facilities of the Port of Manaus were built in the first decade of the twentieth century by Manaos Harbour Limited English firm, which managed the port services to the sixties.
