These are two free tours that are offered on alternating Saturdays inteh city center. The History Train and Step-by-Step History are two free tours that last roughly three hours. Learn about the history of the area, and some of the interesting historical areas of the city.
These tours start at the Banco do Nordeste, on Rua Floriano Peixoto 941, at 1:15 PM. Basic Portuguese is a must. Come out and learn a bit about this great city and it's wonderful and long history that helped shape Brazil as a country.
