| Caça e Pesca Beach (beach) - On its left bank, is the mouth of the Rio Coco. Situated at the end of Praia do Futuro, the beach is named after a club that used to be in the vicinity.
The literal translation is Hunting and Fishing Beach. The beach has calm waters, and thick dark sand. The sea is not recommended for swimming.
It is roughly 15 km from downtown Fortaleza.

It has white soft sands, coconut trees and palm tress, and several areas to play sports. The area has an abundance of lobsters and a great way to test out all the best foods in the late afternoon is to visit the tents in the Fish Market, where all the freshest seafood from Fortaleza is brought.
