Specializing in pastel, the two chain stores prepare snacks with traditional toppings of cheese, meat, palm and special. In Store Gallery Lustosa customers can still taste salty, sweet veneer, pumps and cakes. The Oriental Pastry was inaugurated in 1955 and the unity of Lustosa Gallery in 1981.
Pastel is essentially the same as the Spanish empanadas. They are generally about 4 inches by 6 inches in size. The pastry is prepared with wheat flour filled with ground beef, cheeses, corn, peas, and other vegetables.
