Parque Ecológico e Vivencial do Recanto das Emas

Created in 1996 through the 1188 Act, the Ecological Park of the Corner of Experiential and Emus have your area bounded by Finchley Village of Peace, including the headwaters of the stream Monjolo in the Administrative Region of the Corner of Emas (RA-XV). Part of the park is close to the Quadra 508 to 511 of the Corner as a reference point, the Sewage Treatment Station of Caesb. On the other hand, access to the park is by Núcleo Rural Casa Grande.

The place has beautiful natural reserves suitable for ecotourism. With approximately 354 hectares, the park features two waterfalls, cliffs and springs. Vegetation includes savannah, field dirty, gallery forest, field and stream rock down a deep valley.

The park also has nature trails and access to the banks has a high degree of difficulty, but it still scheduled to open for the visitation of the community. Already the most significant animal species found in the park are: macaws, armadillos, toucans and Siriema.
