Nacional de Gemas e Jóias Museum
The mission of the National Museum of Gems is to "disseminate information on minerals gemstones from Brazil and abroad, jewelry and so on - in its scope educational and cultural - in a pragmatic sense. Correlate its interfaces with the numerous activities of the productive sector." The National Museum of Gems TV Tower located in the DF.
The Museum is located in the Panoramic Hall of Brasilia TV Tower, opened in 1996 and since then the public has more than 3,000 specimens of Brazilian gems and also provides services for analysis and identification of gemstones in gemological laboratory.
Visits: Open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm
Location: TV Tower Panoramic Hall.
