Se Rasgum Festival

This musical event takes place in November, known as the Se Rasgum Festival.   The event who won Bethlehem with her musical diversity, brings shows ranging from lo-fi indie rock to reggae, ska, through the tacky, heavy metal, pop and guitar.

The structure of the Festival also embraces Para fashion show, food court and Ecolounge (space back to the rest of the public and environmental awareness), and urban culture, represented by shares of graffiti and stencilled.

The event also sell CDs, shirts and souvenirs of the event, and a Food Court diversified, including cooking Para.

Continuing the project that had its first edition held last year, the Second Week of Music Para Professional will be held 9-12 November at the Para Sebrae, strengthening the partnership that stimulates the formation of new professionals. Also focuses on entrepreneurship in the cultural, both in musical and artistic production, technology, entrepreneurship, management and law, and strengthen discussions on the creative economy and cultural policies. There are workshops, lectures and discussions during the afternoon and evening in Para Sebrae.
Sebrae invests in the music business initiative within the project to Pro Music.

SeRasgum Festival

Se Rasgum Festival was meant to expand the music regardless of Pará to the whole country and has now not only a cultural force in the music of the region, but one of the largest showcases of modern music all over Brazil and the world.

In seven years of activity, Se Rasgum brought to Bethlehem more than 60 names from all regions of Brazil and four international attractions, the U.S., Canada, Sweden and Uruguay, and has given way to a much larger number of local bands. In 2009, Para 106 bands from different genres and styles have signed up to attend the Festival, a clear demonstration of the appeal that the event has today between the artistic community of the state.

The Festival has become one of the five most important festivals of today, as the Journal pointed Bravo, one of the most respected publications in the country culture of Brazil is going through, currently a music major renovation - in terms of creative and market - with bands and artists coming from all regions of the country, and Se Rasgum closely following this movement.

Festivals like Se Rasgum allow new bands to reach closer to their fans, a demanding and increasingly eager for novelty and originality, with emphasis on the same festivals, in years 60 and 70, showed talent as Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque and Edu Lobo.
