Oficina Theatre
The Oficina Theatre, in the 1960s, was an important center for avant-garde and years of resistance to the authoritarian country.
Dedicated to the metaphorical translation of the years of dictatorship, from 1967, with the play The King of sailing, Oficina Theatre was developed with the "show-manifest", having been forbidden by federal courts.
It was listed by the heritage and the building was renovated with the project architect Lina Bo Bardi and Edson Elito. Currently, the Oficina Theatre is managed by the Group Uzyna Uzona.
The theater still has all memory of its trajectory, rebellious and avant-garde. This can be seen in newspaper clippings, books of essays, manuscripts, prints, audiotapes, films, videos, posters and photographs.
