The Feirinha Beira-Mar, also known as the Nautical Feirinha is a great place for shopping. With more than 600 tents being setup daily and running until 11:00 pm this is a great place to find a souvenir of Fortaleza. Many kiosks are dedicated to ethnic foods and local handicrafts. With relatively low prices compared with other capital cities, and with quality goods being offered, it's well worth a visit, and also located along the edge of Beira Mar, one of most popular areas in the city for tourism and the location of some of the best hotels.
Crafts of Ceará are known worldwide for their quality and uniqueness, including pieces done with lace, carved wood, colorful sand paintings, ceramics, clothing, jewelry, and endless decorative items. With the majority of hotels being located around here, it will be a fairly hard fair to miss.
