Description: Zelia Gattai Theater Cafe

With a capacity for 50 people, Café-Teatro Zélia Gattai constitutes a meeting point for artists and intellectuals, with programs including plays, dramatic readings, seminars, round tables, film screenings, and musical projects. The decor consists of covers of translations from 55 countries, the books of Jorge Amado and illustrations done by Floriano Teixeira.

The Café offers visitors hot drinks, high quality and sophisticated juices, sandwiches and traditional sweets of Bahia.   The menu of "Jorge Amado" includes appetizers and desserts described by the writer in his works.

Wi-fi internet is also available for those seeking a quick internet connection.  Occasionally entrance fees are imposed, but they're generally R$3.00 or so.
