An idea of introducing the producers to the community that would assist in the creation and display of the handicrafts and paintings motivated a group of artists to request the start of Feira do Sol popularly known as Fair of the Sun. It is situated in the plaza having the same name in the West sector. The fair was started on April 1,1990 meeting the stringent standards of review with the special structure of leisure and fun. It is divided into different sectors having specialty in each of them like food, clothing, jewelry, antiques, flowers, and the marketing of industrial products. The area where puppies are sold is one of the busiest areas.

The Municipal Tourism responsible for its administration rights grants permission to the stall owners for a specified time allowing better rotation of farmers, and imposes further conditions for accommodation of the animals besides requiring a vaccination certificate. The display of the equipment in the playground and artistic shows in collaboration make Feira do Sol the most appropriate place for the society’s meeting point of Goiana.
