Description: Merces Tower

The Mercês Tower is the highest point in Curitiba, allowing a 360 degree vision of the city, and allows visitors to view the city from a height of 95 meters.   It is managed by Telepar and Curitiba City Hall, which also promote video sessions and guided tourist programs.   Also located here is the Telephone Museum which makes for two nearby tourist destinations in one! 

The tower is located near the Bosque Gutierrez park, which opened in 1989 and draws crowds to it's natural spring, two small lakes, and trails which wander through fauna and wild flowers.   In the opposite direction, but equally close is the Barigui Parque, which is very large and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Curitaba due to all the amenities it has to offer.

Hours of Operation: Tuesdays to Suundays from 10am to 7pm.
