The Quarry Park is a cultural area surrounded by lakes, waterfalls and forests of pines where human art is in harmony with nature art, forming a unique landscape.
There are Ópera de Arame and Cultural Space Paulo Leminski. The Quarry Park was opened in 1992 at the site of a former quarry.
Cultural Space Paulo Leminski exhibits works, photographs and stories of the poet and intellectual Paul Leminski. The Space includes an outdoor stage, which can accommodate large presentations.
In 1993, as part of the celebrations of Curitiba 300 anniversary, the Catalan tenor José Carreras, accompanied by the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra performed at the place. It is located in the João street in the neighborhood of Pilarzinho.
