More information on Leblon Beach in Rio De Janeiro
Description: Leblon Beach in Rio De Janeiro
This beach is an extension of Ipanema Beach, and is situated between the channels of Visconde de Albuquerque and the Garden of Allah. Leblon is not as crowded as Ipanema Beach, which makes it an attractive alternative. The wide strip of sand allows for various sports to be played here, including volley ball and soccer two the most popular sports played in Brazil. The beach is stunning, the water is warm and inviting and the entire length of the beach has a Portuguese style tiled walkway with the famous white and black tiles. Beside the walkway is a two way bike path, divided from the roads by a concrete divider and finally many beautiful luxurious hotels all along the beach strip.
Mirante do Leblon is located to the far right corner of the beach and allows for a breathtaking view, especially when the sea is changing.
