Description: Vermelha Beach in Rio De Janeiro
The yellow sands of Vermelha Beach offer a small two hundred meter long beach in the Urca neighborhood of Rio. The quiet Vermelha Beach is of limited size with an attractive landscape, located between the Sugar Loaf hill and Babilônia hill. This beach is adjacent to the square from where the cable car to Sugar Loaf leaves.
The short sidewalk displays several kiosks, where many have tables available for enjoying their savoring icy and delicious coconut water. On the right side of the beach, there is the Military Club at Praia Vermelha. On the left side, there is Cláudio Coutinho, a jogging or walking track, a lovely choice for those who can not resist an ecological detour. Apart from rendering an excellent track for walking and jogging, it has some of the best placed belvederes, all along the way, surrounded by the sea, striking flora and views of Morro da Urca hill.
