Located in the headquarters of the Holy House of Mercy, a seventeenth century palace, between the Cathedral Square and City Square. The museum displays works from the seventeenth century to the present day and continues the social project of revitalization of the central region around the Santa Casa de Misericordia da Bahia, the museum's supporting institution.
