Description: Suape Beach
This beach was chosen for the construction of the Port of Suape, the largest in the State, and nearby, Massangana River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Situated on the border of the municipalities of Cabo de Santo Agostinho and Ipojuca, Praia de Suape is a great leisurely option along the coastal state. The place is perfect for those seeking tranquility. With a charming look, flanked by the River Massangana, the extensive stretch of beach has palm trees, beautiful white sand, and small boats sitting offshore. The combination is seductive and tranquil, and one of the reasons that Suape Beach draws crowds from all parts of the world.
Suape cove is protected by a natural reef barrier with lots of sandstone rocks and coconut trees, and with the warm, clear waters is a great place for swimming or bathing. The regional infrastructure is well built out, offering plenty of food and lodging options, another great plus for this beach. Located between Paraíso Beach 10724 and Camboa Beach 10726, Suape Beach has some great competition, but definitely wins, with the water sports, fishing and luxury hotels helping entice tourists from around the world.
Historically, this beach has played a fairly significant role in this area, with battles between the Portuguese, Dutch and Indians Caetés all taking place here.
