If you go Ceará and not bring a Ceará lace (renda) or a brown sugar (rapadura) you are missing the opportunity to enjoy what is most typical there. So, do not let go of the Iguape, Aquiraz district, a municipality located 30 miles from the center of Fortaleza. There, at the Aquiraz Craft Complex are the lace makers who sell parts such beach outputs of (R$ 30), shirts (R$ 25) and table trail R$ 30). Nearby the is also the Casa Grande Mill , municipality of Pindoretama, where is the world biggest raw sugar (rapadura). It is 6.23 meters long and 2,190 pounds. At this site you can buy brown sugar, and other natural flavors, and cashew wine.


Those who want to know better how bottles are made with famous landscapes drawn with colored sand in the region should follow to Fortaleza Morro Branco, a beautiful beach of the Beberibe district, which is approximately 80 kilometers from the capital. There, in about 40 minutes, you can walk the three miles of cliffs where they were taken from the colored sands. Today, the area is preserved and named Beberibe Cliffs Natural Monument. The sand for crafts now comes from other place of extraction. To end this tour, be sure to get a buggy to Praia das Fontes. It costs R$ 30.
