Museum of Contemporary Art
Museu de Arte Contemporânea Based on the premise that a museum is a living institution and dynamic, the Contemporary Art Museum develops its role in the arts, to disseminate, promote and display the cultural production of contemporary artists. Installed on the mezzanine of the building along with Parthenon Center comprises the School of Visual Arts and Ballet of the State, an area called Octo Marques, in honor of this artist from the city of Goias MAC was inaugurated on December 8, 1988 with the completion of the 1 ª Bienal de Artes de Goiás Its collection consists of works belonging Condo Caixego extinct, donated by way of lending; purchased through salons (Acquisition Prize), by donations from artists making acquisitions and exhibitions at local institutions and individuals.
