Jacarecanga Beach

Most people enjoy the surroundings here, strolling along the edge of the beach.  Jacarecanga Beach is an urban beach, only two kilometers from the city center, making it very easy to access.  However, the waters here are polluted and not really suitable for bathing.  Unfortunately a number of the beaches in the downtown area are polluted and unsuitable for bathing.  However, outside the city there are many great beaches do enjoy the tranquil waters.
