Reitoria Theater
The Rector's Theatre was opened in October 17, 1958, with a Week of Culture, where he presented the Chamber Orchestra of Radio MEC governed by Alceu Bochini, pianist Arnaldo and Student Orchestra and Choir of the Federal University of Parana.
With capacity for 700 people, the theater has served on its years of operation, both the internal to the University, as the external community.
The diary opens with a year in advance, and are tagged as a priority, graduations and the seasons of artistic groups of officers Dean of Extension and Culture UFPR.
After the agenda is open to both internal events of the institution as to the general community, attending lectures, conferences, seminars and events of artistic relevance, such as theater, dance and music.
Also the theater is used for assemblies of teachers and internal servers, as well as events organized by students.
