Reciclo Asmare Cultural
td The Cultural Space of Asmare the Recycle shows that it is possible to reintegrate homeless people and generate jobs. The initiative to create a permanent space to demonstrate this possibility immediately won the support of private initiative. Opened in December 2000, the Recycle emerged as a democratic space open to a variety of artistic talents and young people who are in the home environment to develop their work.
The Recycle comprises a store for selling recycled products, snack bar and a space for concerts with a capacity audience of 250 people, kitchen and workshops, making musical instruments and sewing.
The area is visited by public and private schools to develop environmental education projects for the implementation of selective collection, businesses and others interested in recycling and environmental protection.
The space projects such as the Recycle presents? Museum of Garbage ", which shows each month, an experience of organization of collectors of other municipalities of Minas Gerais.
The products sold in the shop Cultural Reciclo are created and produced in the training workshops in carpentry, sewing and recycled paper, which employs teenagers, children of scavengers in the process of social integration.
The Recycle is now recognized by the public in Belo Horizonte as one of the most enjoyable and creative nightclubs and discotheques in the city.
