Praca Da Savassi
Square Diogo de Vasconcelos, better known as Savassi Square, is in the Funcionários district, in a region which also happened to be generically called Savassi. The name is linked to a famous bakery, Savassi family, which existed on the site. In the 40's, was a meeting point for politicians and high society. Over time, established itself as Savassi sophisticated commercial center, becoming, later, in point of youth and high concentration of bars and restaurants.
